General Objectives:
1.To strenghten the knowledge and skills in managing cases related to underwater injury in prehospital and hospital settings in Malaysia.
2.To introduce the approach and management of cases of marine bites and envenomation.
Specific Objectives:
1.To educate participants in recognizing life threatening injuries related to diving sports
2.To educate participants regarding available hyperbaric chamber services in Borneo and Semenanjung Malaysia and how to activate them in case of emergency.
3.To guide participants about care needed during preparing patient transport for injuries related to underwater medicine.
4.To educate especially supporting staff and ambulance driver on wilderness emergency first aid training in order to improve prehospital care management.
5.To empower Hospital Lahad Datu role as Emergency Medicine teaching center.
