Wilderness EMS Course



ATTENTION: WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR OVER WHELMING SUPPORT AND INTEREST TO JOIN THIS COURSE INCLUDING FROM WEST MALAYSIA. UNTIL TODAY (30/1/15) WE ONLY HAVE 20 SEATS LEFT. HOWEVER, THIS SEATS ARE RESERVE FOR DOCTORS, PARAMEDIC, NURSES AND FIRST RESPONDER IN SABAH ONLY.

This course is designed to meet the needs of paramedics who are either called to provide pre-hospital care or covering events in remote locations. It will introduce you to caring for people who become ill or injured far from definitive medical care. Classroom lectures and demonstrations are combined with realistic scenarios that will challenge you to integrate your learning in urban and wilderness pre-hospital care.  At the end of the course, you’ll have the basic knowledge, skills and ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations

Information for Participants


1. Kindly wear long sleeve shirt/t-shirt, long pants and covered footwear (and socks) during this course.



2. Please bring along 2 t-shirts and 1 long pants to be used as padding/cut-up during the practical sessions.


3. Notes and a disposable poncho raincoat will be provided to each participant during registration.


4. Please bring along your own drinking water.
